1. ) We will NOT be celebrating Valentine's Day at school this year. This does not mean that we don't love our children, it just means the day doesn't fall on a school day! ;)
2.) Being tardy is a difficult way for your child to start the day. We start our day immediately after entering our classroom so helping them to be prompt isn't only a good life skill, but also keeps them ahead of the game.
3.) Homework is an essential part of school. If your child is not completing their homework, they will be sent to study hall. Unfortunately we have students leaving school early on a consistant basis. If your child needs to go to study hall, but also needs to leave early, please be advised that they will be doing their work at their lunchtime. There are times when they will also miss morning recess depending on the amount of work they are missing. It is never my goal to take away the much needed time outside, however it is my goal to see academic growth in all my children.
