Reading: We finished Wringer yesterday! They wanted to just read through instead of finishing the last two chapters on Tuesday, I sure wasn't going to tell them to stop reading! Ask them what they thought about the ending, that's what we will talk about on Tuesday morning!
Writing: We are in the midst of a really fun writing project, thanks to the keys you all sent in! We will work on it through next week as well.
Projects: We had an excellent guest speaker on Thursday and our children had really good questions for him. We are now working on compiling our information on how New York, Los Angeles, and Fallon are trying to conserve using non renewable resources. Then we will focus on how we as a school can conserve on the energy we use here within our building. We will then present those findings to all students and staff in our building in various teams.
This has been an awesome project and they are very engaged!
